Introducing COGMED Working Memory Training

Memory TrainingCogmed Working Memory Training is a drug free, research based solution to improve attention by training working memory. This evidence-based, computerized training program was designed by leading neuroscientists to improve attention by effectively increasing working memory capacity over a 5 week training program.

This training program consists of 25 computerized training sessions, each 30-45 minutes long. The training is done on a computer. This 5 week training program consists of five sessions weekly. It is a rigorous program designed to improve working memory through intensive and systematic training.

What is Working Memory?

Working memory, or short term memory, is the ability to keep information in your mind for a short time, focus on a task, and remember what to do next. By training working memory, you will be better able to stay focused, ignore distractions, plan next steps, remember instructions and start and finish tasks.
