Pediatrics West offers many types of Urgent Care services—including sutures, splinting, wedge resections and much more. These services can be provided to your family in a safe and familiar environment and can avoid the additional stress and financial burden of a trip to the emergency room.
Urgent Care is for conditions requiring prompt treatment but that can wait for the time it takes to contact your PCP. Emergency care is needed for symptoms that place your health or the health of any other person in serious jeopardy; i.e. sudden onset of a condition with acute symptoms, acute pain, suspected heart attack, stroke, poisoning, loss of consciousness, convulsion, suicide attempts.
Please call our office if you are unsure whether we can treat your child for a non-emergent situation. Our nurses are available 24 hours per day at 978-577-0437.Leave a reply
